Just a quick note to remind all cyclists that riding your bicycle on the

sidewalk is actually illegal but many people do it for safety. I
suggest that, where there are no bicycle lanes, you do ride on the
sidewalk. The cops don't make a big deal of it until you hit a [ 相约加拿大:枫下论坛 rolia.net/forum ]
pedestrian.

So, please make sure that you give pedestrians a lot of room when you
approach them, especially from behind. I suggest you veer your bicycle
off the sidewalk to ensure you do not collide with anyone. ＜ r o l i a. n e t ＞

Please do not ring your bell to signal to pedestrians that they should
get out of your way. They have a right to be on the sidewalk, you
don't.

When using the crosswalk, please get off your bicycle and push it.

The majority of you who ride bicycles still are not wearing helmets. I
simply do not understand it. Reasons vary from "I have never worn a
helmet in my life." to "It is uncomfortable.". The university lost a ＜ 相约加拿大 ROLIA.NET ＞
student about 4 years ago when he sustained severe head injury. Please protect yourself (and your family). Similarly, when you ride at night, do have reflectors and a light.
