The smaller a word, the harder it is.

I bet most people do not pay much attention to the little word.

If you eat some peaches tonight, please don't swallow peach pits.
Pits are edible, or eatable. Be careful, don't say peach nuts, because that's not the way people talk.

The word "pid" has sevaral other meanings, but I haven't any ideas about them.
