Some people still live in the memory a few years ago: Within a week, one can get 2-3 job interviews. Now we have to live in reality. It is not unusual for a job hunter to spend 3-12 months finding an offer. I feel easy in the present job market because I know I am very competitive. Whenever a lay-off occurs, I am not a sitting duck. I may be out of job for 2 months, but not for 2 years. Losing a job now is by no means the darkest time in my life. Thinking this way, I am still very, very happy.
