It reminded me of another idiom”you are the man”. I didn’t know the real words till last year. I was always saying”you’d man”.LOL
the man (the Man) ：someone who has the ability over you大哥; 厉害的人
"You're the man." 这个口语对象不一定要是男人, 只要是有人作了一件很厉害的事, 你就可以好象很崇拜地拍拍他(她)的肩膀说:"You're the man."(老外说这句话说, 常常会把"man"这个字的尾音拉的长长的)
