I am new to this forum and found your notes very helpful.

However, as I was going through them, I noticed you always used 'talk somebody' instead of 'talk to/with somebody'. Below are some examples quoted from your notes:
'Before you talk your car issurance agent ...'
'I found it is very difficult for me to talk my Chinese colleagues in English'

Honestly, I never know that 'talk' can be used this way. I was wondering, is it simply an error or a very native way of using it? Could you please explain a bit more on this for me. Sorry for my ignorance.
