INFORMATION SERVICES DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
LOCATION: Brampton Office

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Information Services Database Administrator will report to the Regional CIO and will be
responsible for:
· Administrate and support all SQL/Oracle databases
· Design, Develop and Support SQL structure
· Administration of Microsoft SQL cluster
· Will work closely with current Network Admins and Senior System Architects to ensure
a properly architected, optimized and secure database environment at our North
American data center
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
· SQL 2000/2005 database administration experience (3 – 5 years)
· Oracle database administration experience (Minimum 3 years)
· Microsoft cluster experience (Strong Asset)
· Strong Networking knowledge (Strong Asset)
· Server class hardware knowledge (Asset)
· IBM Blade technology experience (Asset)
· SQL and/or Crystal report writing experience (Asset)
· Sarbanes Oxley or other Corporate Compliancy exposure (Asset)
The successful candidate must be a detail-oriented individual who possesses a strong work
ethic, excellent organizational skills and is able to perform well in a team oriented work
environment.
SALARY RANGE:
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined in accordance with HUB
International Ontario Limited’s Compensation and Salary Administration Plan and the
individual’s qualification and experience.
