I graduated from one of the Leadership program.
I suggest that you take this three_month rotation. At the beginning of the rotation, work with your assignment leader and write down all the deliverables in detail, including all the measurement of success. During the rotation, review those goals with your manager on a weekly basis, and update your COO on your rotation status on a weekly basis. If the company is willing to pay for English enhancement class during off-business hour, take that opportunity. It also demonstrates that you constantly work on your development needs.
At the same time, contact head hunter or other job search websites and look for new opportunities as a backup plan. It is always easy to land a new job while you still have a job.
