That is the main reason why new immigrants feel so hard to find a job here . Because we are all competing for the less and less decent jobs available. If you are in manufacturing, and you can not or do not want to change career path, going back to China is probably a wiser choice, because manufacturing simply does not have much future in North America. The higher Canadian dollar only adds to the pain of these workers
