Last Friday, two Chinese chatted and laughed loudly while in washroom. When they came out, two Canadian guys were drinking coffee nearby, and one of the them started to grin and said: "Hey, it is not allowed two Chinese laughing in the washroom!"
OK, tell me, what would you respond?
That is something happens in your workplace all the time when you interact with those Canadians, especially if you are a Chiense male. Their word maybe simply a joke, but sounds like there is some uncomfortable meaning. They are your co-workers, and their just want to make a humorous chat.
Because you really don't know what they truly mean?
Will you be angry?
Will you be shy away?
