Requirements:
As a strong candidate for this diverse challenge, you will have proven experience in a related financial institution within a data management capacity. You must have a degree and / or designation coupled with data quality assurance experience. As a Senior Analyst, Data Services, you will be familiar with the nuances of various investment products and platforms. As well, you will have practical experience with accounts / portfolio structures and multi-asset portfolios. Proven experience writing business cases is also essential. Superior documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills are required. You must be flexible, adaptable, and self motivated. A solid understanding of Excel (macros), Access, and SQL is required.

If so, then please keep reading! Our downtown Toronto client is expanding their team under their investment finance group to include a Senior Analyst, Data Services. In this newly created role, the Senior Analyst, Data Services will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of investment data and information flows within the organization. As a Senior Analyst, Data Services, you will work closely with areas of public and private markets, real estate, investment finance, and information technology. Specific accountabilities will include: planning and creating test plans for new processes; creating, editing, and updating business bases for new data requests along with documenting and presenting testing results; interfacing with business units in response to user queries; collecting data requirements and communicating data related changes; providing feedback on data / meta data standards; interfacing with vendors; developing interdepartmental processes; documenting and developing data process flow maps; ensuring efficiencies and providing recommendations on data management and data flow processes; responding to user requests; coordinating new / changed business requirements; implementing appropriate controls; and coordinating the work of analysts. Other related duties will be assigned as required.
