One of the hedge fund he worked was opened by Warren Buffet's god son Mark Byrne. His father, Jack, is a close friend of Buffett. Jack Byrne ran Buffett’s direct auto-insurance unit Geico and is now chairman of White Mountains Insurance Group.
Remember Hurricane Katrina? It turned out to be a great opportunity for insurance company to open up shops there after the event and tons of money were made there.
