In US IT industry… Chinese are being phased out by Indian

In US, most of the IT recruiters and IT interviewers I met are all Indian. Strange enough, lots of my friends (some of them are really good), when they applied to US jobs, have been rejected by Indian interviewers usually after one to two very cheap phone calls (asking some basic IT questions with the ugliest English accent in the world)...
It is a reality that Indian together is phasing Chinese out in US. In US IT field Indian are everywhere (you just can’t image there are so many of them until you work in US) and less and less Chinese in IT especially mgmt layer... this has formed a very evil loop within which the more Indian in mgmt level the more Indian being brought into US IT field… I feel much better when I came back to Toronto since I eventually can see some Chinese faces everywhere again…
Some characters make Indian stand-out in US:
1. Good English communication skills, especially communicate with managers and clients
2. Very united. They favor each other and treat each other like a family. They argue with each other too, but when facing other races, they support each other strongly; I and some colleagues had some sessions when arguing with one Indian, the rest of the Indian group stood by him right away.
3. Strong nationality. Though India is a poor nation, from every Indian’s mouth it is the greatest and the most promising country in the world (make me throw by hearing that) and Indian is the greatest nation in the world. They are so proud of their culture and proud of their achievement in US.
What make Chinese fail to stand-out in US are just the opposite of these 3 as well.
My fellow Chinese, only after you spend some times in US or elsewhere aboard, can you truly appreciate Toronto is so far the best place for Chinese to live outside of China. Chinese are being obviously discriminated everywhere except in Toronto where we have so far founded a relatively large and STRONG Chinese community (pls pay attention to my word “strong”, the beautiful California also has large Chinese community, but not strong, after 200 years, majority of Chinese there still remain low profile, the image of Chinese are no more than restaurant, massage parlor, cheap corner stores, low-level engineers) I have never seen so many Chinese stand out and step into upper mgmt level elsewhere other than Toronto. We should learn from Indian to support each other to make this our own land away from home
The IT field in Toronto is still not being dominated by Indian (this is partially because Indian do not even bother to come to Canada as they want to go to US), If you/I are in a hiring position, please learn from Indian to give favor to your fellow Chinese; if you have to diversify your workforce, you rather bring in European or South American than bring in Indian.
