1. no need to bring the degree with u for interview, unless it's required;
2. no one in Canada laughs at the degree approached outside Canada; but we can compare different educations; say, u can take your degree and the courses description to U of T (Toronto University), asking for a degree equivalent assessment service(cost about 120?), once done and gets proved, it's considered as similar as the degree in Canada (in theory).
