You receive a credit of 12 months for a postgraduate degree but that does not take the place of your 12 months of Canadian engineering experience. You are also eligible to receive credit for associated applied research thesis work conducted within the frame-work of postgraduate degree requirements, if such work is sponsored or used by industry. The total of this applied research-related credit plus the 12 months' credit related to the award of the postgrad degree cannot exceed the time spent to complete the postgrad degree requirements
