BARRY这个周四也离开了办公室，因为他要决定退休了。
他以前是TELUS的工程师，本来就准备退休了，被我们公司聘过来干一个项目。一干就是两年。现在终于可以退休了。
我问他有什么计划，他说准备开TRAILER在北美大陆到处玩，还想到亚洲去旅游。
按照惯例，办公室里的诗人TONY，又做了一首LIMERICK给他：
BARRY…
He joined us in the SuperNet race
A variety of tasks he did embrace

With no others distract
The work seemed to fall into place
Not usually the most vocal of men
A conversation was had now and then
For those unaware
He’s lived his fair share
And remains quite the gentlemen
I believe from Telus he did retire
After working for that telecom supplier
He joined us for part-time
A little less of a grind

Good timing he came when he did
With the workload increasing amid
Doing the splicing to’s and from’s
And completing all the BOMs
Should those fibre strands be dark or dead ?
And now with this end to awhile

照例我们到附近的BAR庆祝了一下，每个人都在卡片上写了几句。我写的是“ENJOY YOUR LIFE.”好笑的是不知是谁选的卡片，上面印着BAD ASS及图案来拿BARRY打ぁOSS还送了一段电话线给他，说让他ALWAYS ON LINE。

Did you hear the story of the man who came to work for a month and made it last 2 years. That doesn't happen because a person enjoys work, it happens because of you enjoy the people you work with.
I have immensely enjoyed listening to your tales of adventure, stories of woo, and watching some recover from a hangover. Perched at the back of the room I have watched each of you grow, and as Supernet comes to an end I am confident that all of you will prosper in your next endeavors. As for myself, I will be getting off the merry-go-round and make another attempt at retirement.
